Pain is a complex problem. It creates emotional, physical and financial stress for patients and their families. No matter what type of pain you experience, it can affect every facet of your daily activities.

Vermont Pain Management uses a multidisciplinary approach for the management of physical pain as well as emotional stress.

Licensed doctors, nurses, radiology technicians and caring support personnel staff the clinic. Evan Musman, D.O., a board certified Anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management, is the medical director. He is a leader in the exciting new field of non-surgical interventional pain management. These therapies employ precision X-ray guided techniques to pinpoint and treat the exact source of pain. If you, like one-third of all Americans, suffer from some sort of chronic pain, then you are almost certainly looking for ways to effectively manage your pain and to get back control of your life. It is my sincere hope that this web site will provide useful information on the type of pain that you or a loved one may have.

We specialize in treatments for chronic pain originating in the spine, major joints and related structures. We are particularly excited about ultrasound guided diagnostic therapeutic procedures and successful treatment of cervical/lumbar facet joint pain with radiofrequency neurotomy. You can read more about these treatments in the
Treatment Options page of this website.

In addition to spine pain, we also treat chronic headaches, arthritis, cancer pain, pain from Herpes Zoster (shingles), post-trauma pain, phantom limb pain, facial pain, musculoskeletal pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (Reflex sympathetic dystrophy). For more information on any of these entities, simply refer to the
Types of Pain page.
